Not every deal you see online is worth your time. And we don’t believe in sharing savings that don’t actually save you money.
At Pepaw’s Top Finds, our goal is simple: help everyday folks stretch their dollars without falling for flashy sales talk, fake discounts, or rushed decisions. That means we’re picky about what makes the cut.
Here’s how we decide which deals are worth sharing — and why plenty of “too good to be true” offers never make it onto our site.
Where Our Deals Come From
We keep an eye on a wide mix of sources, including retailer sales, coupons, clearance sections, loyalty programs, seasonal markdowns, and reputable savings platforms. We also track price patterns over time, not just one-day promotions.
Just because a product is on sale doesn’t mean it’s a good deal — and just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s priced right.
What Makes a Deal Worth Posting
Before we share a deal, we ask a few simple questions:
- Is the discount real, or is the price inflated to look better than it is?
- Would this be a smart buy for someone paying their own bills?
- Is the product useful, dependable, or genuinely cost-effective?
- Does the savings make sense compared to similar options?
If the answer isn’t clear, we skip it. If we wouldn’t recommend it to family or friends, it doesn’t belong here.
What We Leave Out (On Purpose)
You won’t find every flash sale, countdown timer, or “last chance” offer posted just for clicks. We avoid:
- Fake markdowns and inflated original prices
- Low-quality products dressed up as “deals”
- Overhyped trends with short shelf lives
- Pressure tactics that rush people into buying
Saving money shouldn’t feel stressful or confusing. And it definitely shouldn’t feel like a gamble.
Why Slowing Down Saves More
Some of the best savings come from waiting, comparing, and thinking things through. That’s why many of our guides focus on when to buy, not just what to buy.
A good deal today is only a good deal if it still makes sense tomorrow.
Our Promise to Readers
Pepaw’s Top Finds exists to help people spend smarter, not just spend more. We aim to be clear, honest, and practical — without hype or hidden agendas.
If we share a deal, it’s because we believe it offers real value. If we don’t, there’s usually a good reason. Not all deals are worth sharing.
Saving money doesn’t have to be fancy. It just has to be thoughtful.
